Beach House Takeaways: Liz Fulcher

Liz FulcherLiz Fulcher talks about what she discovered at the Beach House.

What made you want to be at the Beach House?

I wanted to surround myself with other women who have achieved what I am working toward, i.e., online business and financial success.

I imagined it would be a good bonding experience with powerful ladies plus an opportunity to relax at the beach. I was 100% correct! It was an amazing experience and worth every penny. I can’t wait to go back!

Your Bold Breakthrough

The biggest breakthrough for me was seeing first hand how women that I admire for what they have achieved are just like me!

They don’t have any special gifts or talents that I, too, don’t already possess. They just work consistently, efficiently and never give up! That was so empowering because I understood that I can have the same success they have.

Your Takeaway

I would say at least half of the contacts I made at the Beach House have had an impact on my business, from coaching to virtual assistant help to other participants promoting my business on their websites. If you’re thinking about going to the Beach House, just do it! There is nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Beach House Takeaways: Debbie O’Grady

Debbie O'GradyDebbie O’Grady shares what she learned at the Beach House.

What made you want to be at the Beach House?

The thought of spending a long weekend with some of the women I very much admire for what they’ve created in their business plus getting to meet some of the women they admire is what drew me to attend the Beach House Mastermind event.

Your Bold Breakthrough

It was at the Beach House that I first admitted out loud how much I wanted my company to be successful.

Your Takeaway

The relationship I have today with both Kelly and Nicole really was established that weekend and I am so grateful to both of them for bringing me into their world and making me feel welcome!

I feel so connected with everyone that was at the Beach House that weekend even if we don’t stay in close contact, I believe we are always there for each other.

I’ve never participated in anything like that before and it was a very special experience. I feel anyone thinking about participating ought to Just Do It – you’ll not regret it.

Beach House Takeaways: Kristen Joy

Kristen JoyKristen Joy discusses what made the Beach House a fun, informative retreat.

What made you want to be at the Beach House?

It was where my cool friends Nicole and Kelly were going to be, so of course I couldn’t miss out! And the beach is my home away from “home,” so combining that with business brainstorming and fun, well, that’s a blend of perfection.

Your Bold Breakthrough

My biggest breakthrough was probably a personal one. I went down to my last beach retreat (I’ve been three times) having made a very tough personal decision.

Through the support of the smart women there and especially Nicole, I was able to take confident action on that decision, which has meant major breakthrough for me personally, my business, and my relationships.

Your Takeaway

Getting my shit called out in front of everyone by the amazing Therese Sparby (ok, maybe that one wasn’t so fun, but definitely memorable!), brainstorming on the sand with my best friend Natalie, and late night chats and card games with anyone who was still awake.

I solidified several older friendships, and I did meet some amazingly cool women I’d only been “friends” with online, and we’ve kept in touch. It’s been awesome.

This is the place for you if you’re a woman ready to make that next big leap forward in your business! 🙂

Beach House Takeaways: Helena Alkhas

Helena AlkhasHelena Alkhas chats about why she enjoyed the Beach House.

What made you want to be at the Beach House?

I had just started coaching with Nicole Dean and she shared with me how the Beach group was going to meet and what a great opportunity to meet likeminded, female entrepreneurs, looking to work on their businesses through an entire weekend and plan on what to do next.

It seemed just like the perfect opportunity for me to move away from my day-to-day life, be in a women only environment, connect with new people, learn new business strategies and have 1:1 time with Nicole.

Your Bold Breakthrough

At the Beach House I met several women who were already doing very well in their online businesses and I realized that this is totally doable. I come from a hands-on 1:1 service industry and had been having a real hard time making the move to online only.

After coming from the Beach House it took me several months to make the jump and dedicate myself mostly to my online work and now I’m starting to match my service income with my online sales.

Your Takeaway

Being connected online with the Beach House members has been important for me and is a great resource. Whenever I need help, a push or a tap on the back, they’re always there for me. It’s a wonderful community, no BS. Seeing their progress and business growth is also very important and motivating for me.

Beach House Takeaways: Lisa Wells

Lisa WellsLisa Wells talks about her experience at the Beach House.

What made you want to be at the Beach House?

I wanted something small and intimate. I attend large events throughout the year and it’s easy to get lost in a sea of entrepreneurs who just want to network. I felt that having 1-on-1 time with Nicole and Kelly was what I needed most at that time. Plus being at the beach – can’t beat that!

Your Bold Breakthrough

Gaining clarity around what I needed for one aspect of my business. I have multiple streams of income and one of those streams wasn’t making much money so I thought by changing the tools and strategy, it would help increase income. But it didn’t.

Since then, I’ve reframed the situation and though I still have that part of the business, I don’t devote as much time, energy, or money to it. Now that the pressure is off, I am in a much better frame of mind.

Your Takeaway

I would say that building relationships is ALWAYS the best thing you can do for your business. And sometimes you don’t know the impact until later down the road. A short conversation with someone walking on the beach or a late-night discussion; each one is valuable and I treasure every connection that I made at the house.

If you are looking to disconnect from the day to day routine, connect with nature, and be around like-minded entrepreneurs, while having FUN Beachpreneurs is a FANTASTIC choice!

Beach House Takeaways: Maruxa Murphy

Maruxa MurphyMaruxa Murphy shares what she learned at the Beach House.

What made you want to be at the Beach House?

I wanted to be at the Beach House because I knew the women there would be stellar and would challenge me to where I needed to go next with my business.

Your Bold Breakthrough

One of the biggest breakthroughs I had was to allow myself to ENJOY what it is that I wanted for my life, and stop living my life for other people. It was huge because it was a turning point for me – making the decision to go forward and build out my brand with my own voice.

Your Takeaway

A profound conversation with my now podcast partner, Therese Sparby, and great walks on the beach with amazing women!

Therese and I knew of each other, but it was there that our partnership was started and it’s lead us both to creating a podcast that supports us both in our own respective businesses.

Beachpreneurs is fantastic. It was a big reason I was able to move forward feeling empowered in my business all the while having a 1 year old and another baby on the way! I saw other women who had been there as a mom also building out their businesses, and it was such motivation for me to grow myself and the ways I can serve others!

Beach House Takeaways: Natalie Marie Collins

headshot-natalie-marie-collins-300x300Natalie Marie Collins has been to the Beach House several times and it’s been a joy to see her and her business grow!

What made you want to be at the Beach House?

The opportunity to spend quality time with Nicole and Kelly (3 full days!!! Eeeee!) and not just in passing at a networking event, but actual, real one-on-one and group mastermind time. The clarity that comes out of their mouths are like little flakes of golden nuggets you can use to grow bigger golden nuggets in your business.

The connection. The women that Nicole and Kelly attract to go to the Beach House are genuine and amazing women doing awesome things in their business and life. As entrepreneurs, the connection with others, especially women, is key to getting the support we need for our success. The connections and deep relationships I’ve made at the beach house are priceless.

Your Bold Breakthrough

One thing that Nicole and Kelly are masters at is being able to see if something is in alignment with your message or not. Bright Shinny Objects tend to want to be pretty and sparkly, but they don’t fool Nicole and Kelly! I was able to present my ideas in a safe place and get the feedback I needed. By getting the feedback I was able to make the necessary adjustments in my master plan that made it work so much better than before.

Your Takeaway

I’ve had several new relationships that have a big impact on my business. If you feel like you are doing business all by yourself, you need to go to the beach house! You’ll find your peeps there who can give you the support you’ve been missing.
